The science

Skincare on a whole new wavelength.

Your skin ages at four depths, and most skincare only reaches the top one. Here is how light reaches the rest, in ten minutes a day.

The four depths

Skin is built in layers, and each one ages in its own way.

Breakouts start at the top. Fine lines and texture start one layer down, where collagen is made. Firmness sits deeper, in the collagen that holds the shape of your face. The jawline sits deeper still.

Creams do real work on the top layer. That is also where they stay.

Wavelengths

Four wavelengths, four depths

Each wavelength of light reaches a different depth.

Short wavelengths are absorbed near the surface. Longer ones travel further before the skin absorbs them. Choose the wavelength, and you choose the depth.

Mechanism

How light becomes collagen

It gives your skin cells more energy to do their job.

An enzyme inside your cells absorbs certain wavelengths of light. The cell makes more energy. The cells that build collagen use that energy to build more of it.

  1. 01Light

A wavelength the cell can absorb reaches it.

  2. 02Absorption

An enzyme inside the cell absorbs it.

  3. 03Energy

    The cell makes more energy.

  4. 04Collagen

Collagen-building cells put that energy to work.

Scientists call this photobiomodulation. Most people call it red light therapy.

No heat.
No injury.

Laser Pro works by giving your cells more energy, with no heat and no injury to the skin. That means no downtime. Results build over weeks, the way collagen does.

Lasers and coverage

Why lasers, and why 164

Laser light lands where it is aimed.

A laser holds a narrow beam at one exact wavelength, so far more of its energy arrives on target instead of spreading out. The result is about 6x more on-target intensity.

A narrow beam covers a small spot, so it takes a lot of them to cover a face. Laser Pro places 164 lasers close enough that their beams meet, covering your face, from hairline to jawline.

  • 20lasers, 1064nm infrared
  • 72LEDs, 460nm blue, in its own mode

164 lasers plus 72 LEDs: 236 points of light across four wavelengths.

Dose

Not 7. Not 15.
But precisely 10 minutes.

More is not better. Neither is less.

Light works inside a timed window. Too little does nothing. Too much starts to cancel the benefit. Researchers call this the biphasic dose response.

Ten minutes lands the dose inside the optimal window.

Timeline

Two changes, on two timelines

What changes, and when.

About 2 weeksBrightness. Circulation responds first, and skin looks more awake.
8 to 12 weeksFirmness and lines. Collagen rebuilds slowly, and there is no rushing it.

Collagen

Why your forties and fifties matter

Different decades, different changes.

1 to 1.5%
of skin collagen, lost each year from early adulthood.
Up to 30%
can go in five years, once the loss speeds up around 50.
About 2%
a year after that, for roughly fifteen years.

Sources differ on the exact window, so the figure is up to about 30 percent.

Questions

Isn’t this just red light therapy?
Same science. Red light therapy is the everyday name for it. Most devices use one or two wavelengths. Laser Pro uses four, across the whole face, delivered by 164 lasers rather than LEDs.
Does it hurt?
No. It is non-thermal, so there is no heat and no injury to the skin.
Is it safe to use at home?
It is an FDA-cleared Class II medical device, cleared for wrinkle reduction and acne, non-thermal and non-ablative. No eye protection is needed, and EMF at treatment distance measures 0.0 µT. 572 clinicians on FrontrowMD recommend it without compensation.
Isn’t LED the same thing for less?
Same biology, different delivery. A laser puts essentially all of its energy at the exact wavelength, aims it in a narrow beam and holds it there for the whole session — about 6x more on-target intensity than an LED spreading a band of wavelengths across a wide cone. That is what the price buys.
When will I see a difference?
Brightness at about two weeks. Firmness and lines over eight to twelve weeks, as collagen rebuilds.
It looks dim. Is it working?
Yes. Two of the four wavelengths are invisible to the eye, so most of the work happens where you cannot see it.

Ten minutes, five nights a week, at the depths where skin ages.
